MarsCon is the longest running convention in the Tidewater region of VA. It is an excellent place to for a personal Fan Con experience and a great way to start the year. Usually held in January, COVID forced this year's con to move to March. This will be MarCon's last year in Williamsburg, as it is moving back to VA Beach, the original birthplace of MarsCon.
This con takes place at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel in Williamsburg, VA.
RavenCon is a horror lover's paradise. The author community shows up in force as well, and you can always find a ghost story or paranormal investigation. Music also takes center stage at this fantastic fan con in Richmond , VA. If Mysticon is my home con, then RavenCon is my home away from home, and I highly recommend this convention!
This con takes place at the Virginia Crossing Tapestry Collection by Hilton, in Glen Allen, VA.
ConCarolinas is a Science Fiction and Fantasy Con that focuses on the Arts, literary, performing, and visual. Authors and performers abound, along with vendors, cosplayers, and more. ConCarolinas is also focused on giving back to community, hosting BOTH a Charity Auction and a Blood Drive.
I will be a guest at ConCarolinas this year, so come find me at a panel or just say hi in the hallways!
This con takes place at the Hilton Charlotte University Place, in Charlotte, NC.
ConGregate is a speculative fiction fan convention that is just a blast to attend. In it's second year at its new location, it's bound to be even more fun this year. I highly recommend giving ConGregate a visit if you're near Winston-Salem in July!
This con takes place at the Marriott Downtown, in Winston-Salem, NC.
